In 1998, Allied Fire Protection, LP was formed mainly as a subcontractor in the business of saving lives and property through the design, installation, and service of fire sprinkler systems. Shannon Payne, John Hubbard, Danny Casteel, Troy Sambrano, and Jodie McAdams are the original founders of the company. Danny Casteel, after 35 years of service has retired.The contract department is directed by John Hubbard, partner and head estimator, a 15 year veteran in the fire sprinkler field. Having completed projects such as Inn at the Ball Park with Hoar Construction, St. Luke’s Parking Garage with Tellepsen Builders, and Nordstrom’s with W. E. O’Neil Construction and Houston Polymers and Innerport Warehouses with Cadence McShane proves there is no job this organization cannot handle.In 2000, the service department was started because of demand and to provide versatility in the market. Today the service department is lead by Troy Sambrano, estimator and partner, who holds a BS in Business and Public Administration. The service department is defined by its work consisting of routine inspections (required at least annually for all fire sprinkler systems), add and relocate, repair and maintenance of all fire equipment, tenant finish outs and other renovations and additions to existing buildings. Allied Fire Protection, LP currently holds service contracts with Dickinson ISD, Randall’s Food, Us Gypsum, Deerbrook Mall, and Sara Lee along with numerous others.At the beginning of 2004, offices were opened in San Antonio and McAllen. We were given an opportunity to enter these markets with truly talented people. Alan Hertz and Frank Lozano are partners representing the San Antonio branch that includes a satellite office in McAllen which is managed by Ruben Delacruz.San Antonio's office ECR licensing allows us to inspect, install and maintain all fixed fire protection systems. Frank Lozano holds the fire extinguisher certification in the San Antonio area. This new service broadens our ability to handle your entire fire protection requirements conveniently.In February of 2006, we are exited to announce the opening of a new office in Ft. Worth. We have a great leader and our branch manager brings the talent to our team to expand in the metroplex area. We have over 15 years experience in the fire protection industry for this region.I, Shannon Payne, hold a BS in Business and Public Administration from the University of Houston. Currently, I serve on the Board of Directors of the young constructor’s Forum with Association of General Contractors which provides guidance in the vastly growing construction industry.
